RHEL 3.0 driver
 

Hi i'm trying to look for a driver for this device:

Intel Corporation 82801GB/GR/GH (ICH7 Family) Serial ATA Storage Controller IDE (rev 01)

I'm unable to find one for RHEL 3.0. I'm using a Dell PowerEdge 850 system. On the Dell website they have a ata_piix driver for RHEL 4.0 but none for 3.0. Any clues?

I would strongly suggest that you install the latest version of RHEL3 update8;

$ rpm -qlip kernel-2.4.21-47.0.1.EL.i686.rpm | grep ata
