Question RHCS 6 - Sharing IP Address across multiple services

Dear Redhat Gurus,

I'm puzzled that while attempting to create multiple services that have the same dependency on a single IP address resource, the cluster do not fail over service A if service B is down and need to be started on the secondary node.

Is this correct behaviour or perhaps I have not setup the cluster properly. Can anyone please advice ?

Hello and welcome to LinuxQuestions,

That's pretty hard to answer without knowing how you configured the cluster. Please post your configuration files, masking all personal info. Also what are you using as cluster software?

Looking forward to your participation in the forums. Have fun with Linux.

Kind regards,
