Question RH9 Memory Hungry? Can I SLim it down?


I hav Heard that read hat 9 is a Memory sucker and just running Fluxbox, and mozilla I am using up 218MB of my Memory(Total 256) I dont quite like that . . . . . , is there a wat i can free up memory?

it won't be using that much. most of it will be cached data, not active... check the output of "free" and the manpage to explain what it means.
