RH9 and Conexant Dial-up Modem
I am having problems with my Conexant modem, it is an internal dial-up 56k PCI Data/Fax/Voice/Speakerphone modem. Linux Kudza picks up the modem, and it configures it. Then I try to connect with my modem, and it just stops at Initilizing Modem... and it stops there. I use tcpdump, and there are no packets are being sent. Can somebody please help me get connected?
::EDIT:: I am using Kernel version 2.4.20-8, on a i686 Gateway Essential 433Mhz, 256RAM, Intel 810 video chipset Thanks, NeTwErKz BTW: I am a ( :newbie: ) |
nobody help me? I seriously need help...

Try http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/ . They make drivers specifically for a wide range of conexant modem chipsets and provide RPMs for Mandrake, RedHat, etc. but I don't know if using their drivers and instructions require an expert or whether a newbie will do but hopefully it will help you.
