RH8 does not boot with Compaq Laptop

Hi.
I have installed Red Hat 8.0 in a Compaq Laptop.
But when I go to boot the computer appears:

"PCI_IDE (ide_setup_pci_device Could not enable device."

How have I to configure Gru for fixing it?

Thanks in advance.

My best regards.

Not sure what you mean by Gru. If you mean Grub, well, grub won't fix this problem. If you post some more details about your hardware setup, it might help us determine what the problem is.
