RH Enterprise 4 + LVM + ext3

I'm running RedHat Enterprise 4 Beta 2. Is it possible to expand a current LVM logical volume? I currently have a 160GB hd installed as follows (df output):

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00
152914012 136681900 8464460 95% /
/dev/hda1 101086 15234 80633 16% /boot

If I wanted to add a 200GB hd and extend the LogVol00 volume, how would I go about doing so? Is it possible to do it without unmounting, avoiding downtime? I want to have LogVol00 as a 360GB volume after this is done.

LVM cannot be increased onilne (that is without unmounting) as of now I hope.

So how would I go doing it offline? Can I boot off the install cd into rescue mode and extend the logical volume from there? Then reboot?
