I want to run one of the programs installed on my RH6.2 computer using either telnet/ssh from other machines, is there anyway to install telnet/ssh server on RH6.2? (RH6.2 only comes with the telnet client)

I've found the yum rpm and the ssh rpm compiled for 6.2 but here's the thing, both of these rpms require rpm version 3.0.6 which then requires a more recent version of glibc.

However, I want to keep the gcc2.9.1 compiler because the program I'm trying to run requires it. Will upgrading glibc affect my current gcc compiler? is there any other way to do it?

RHL6.2 did come with a telnet-server rpm package(telnet-server-0.16-6.i386.rpm). If you still the media install the telnet-server package from it.
