removing programmes (games)
 
hello im running redhat 9 using kde and i want remove the games all of them now i have tried using the add or remove programme to do it for me but it keeps thinking i want to install them can i do it from a terminal please

you need to use the rpm command
Code:

rpm -qa
will print all the rpm packages installed in your system.
if you know the name of the package you can remove it with
Code:

rpm -e <packagename>
by using something like:
Code:

rpm -qa |grep <pattern>
you can filter out the packages displayed according to a pattern.
