RedHat & RoadRunner Internet

I have RedHat 9.0 installed and I have no idea how to set up my internet connection with RoadRunner in RedHat.

I can't use an ethernet card, I have to hook my modem to my computer through a USB port.

I called RR and they told me they do not support Linux, so could someone PLEASE help me?

I asked the same thing in my other topic, but I figured this might help some people out as it's own topic.

ANY help at all would be greatly appreciated!

What is the model number and brand of your cable modem?
Once I have that, I'll check to see if it's supported, and we can go from there.

According to some threads on another forum, the modem should work right out of the box with RedHat.
If it doesn't try running 'modprobe CDCEther'
and then 'netconfig'
When you run netconfig, make sure to set it to get your IP address via DHCP.
Good luck.
