Redhat 9 hard disk installation - CD install aborts in Dell Dimension 8300
 

Elsewhere in the forum our problem with RedHat 9 is dealt with: Installation CD #2 is not recognized and the process aborts. Red Hat Inc has suggested that I install from the hard disk, which seems logical. I will appreciate some practical guidance on how to do this, such as : do I copy the ISO´s to a FAT drive in my disk? How do I start the install from there? I am a beginner and the Redhat manual is confusing when this HD install is described. Thanks for your advice. - Antonio Wiesner
