Question Redhat 9.0 not seeing CD ROM on install

ok... so i just downloaded Redhat 9.0 and am installing it on an old Dell of mine. Everythign seems to work fine but, after i choose the keyboard type it looks for the Redhat CD. It obviously knows where it is since its booting off it , so why is it getting confused?
I have tried :

linux hda=nodma
linux hdb=nodma
etc etc
linux ide=nodma

but nothing seems to work. What am i doing wrong? How can i make it see my CD ROM which it is already using?
