Back when RH 8.0 went EOL I decided on using Fedora Legacy over Whitebox thinking they would be around longer. I never thought their support for RH 8.0 would die out so quickly after making that decision.
I am not sure if this is still true but last I read whitebox is only one person. However since I already have the CDs even if he stopped supporting Whitebox I assume just following RHEL updates I would be all set for the next 3 years. (really 7 years but I know I would likely upgrade again in 3)
The only thing I am unsure of is whether direct updates from an RHEL mirror would be a problem. I assume I would run into the logo/copyright problem which I think means I would need to look at the source rpms and strip to logos/copyright stuff?
