REDHAT 5 Enterprise Yum Setup

I am attempting to run updates via yum and it is acting as though it has never been setup. How would I go about setting this up? We are registered with redhat. Here is what happens when I run yum as root.thanks

PHP Code:

 yum update
Loaded plugins
rhnpluginsecurity
This system is not registered with RHN
.
RHN support will be disabled.
Skipping security pluginno data
Setting up Update Process
No Packages marked
for Update

If you're registered with RedHat, why don't you call RedHat support?

Look in their knowledgebase about rhn-register, too...that'll get your system set up and working with the RedHat Network.

If you are registered with Redhat then run the command rhn_register and login to your account . Then yum update will update from RHN.

It was definitely a registration thing. After learning that this server was a reinstallation from my boss, I called redhat and it turned out to be that when rhn_register was run it had the registration/hostname of the previous machine. So I deleted the previous profile and reran rhn_register and all worked well. Many thanks for the help.
