red hat linux enterprise 3 ws software
 

i have been looking at rh linux enterprise basic ws. the install process looks very similar to rh 9. the configurations look similar also. here are my questions-

1. if i use this as a desktop - were do i find software for xmms, nvidia. i tryed to find xmms on google search engine-none available. just wonder if xmms for rh9 would work on it.

2.what is the difference between basic and stanard ws. is it mostly support, besides getting a cd rom and some install media?

3. am i correct, rh offers no discount for the stanard edition, i know i am elgible for discount on the basic ws.

i am getting to think red hat enterprise 2.1 ws is not the best for a multi-media desktop? can get version 3 at red hat, but still believe its not a good home desktop
