red hat freezes when connecting usb printer
 

Hi,

Yep, I am a newbie :)

I am using Redhat 9.0, which seems to hang on the module part of the bootup process whenever I plug in my USB printer. If I have it unplugged, the system will boot up fine..

Also, if I plug in the printer after normal bootup, the mouse and system freeze up completely...

Not sure what is going on. any ideas?

Will be glad to provide more info if needed..
