red hat for a really old computer


I want to install red hat for a computer of computer class but the thing is that the computer the teacher gave me is really old. Is a 486 cpu-66 mhz
ram- 12 hd-425 mb. Is there any distrubution that can un on this???

I have no idea, but you may have to way back in search of all old linux distros.

GNU/Linux operating systems are known to have work on very old systems and you may find one.

Mind u ...u can run only the terminal based OS. You have speed up typing..which I am sure u have ;-)

Also, may be .... www.linuxcompatible.org could help u as well....make a search there ....

But the computer is veeeerrrrrrryyyyyyy old...!!!!
