Compare the settings of both the VMs quite unlikely that it will allow on one and won't allow on another. Need more details on what you are doing differently this time?
Did you try deleting and re-creating Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7_2 it appears that the disk hasn't been allocated properly during the creation phase. It is just weird that it isn't working but the only explanation to that I can think of is disk not getting allocated properly during creation phase. Also, for testing purpose did you try with IDE?
I would suggest deleting and re-creating it with SCSI first and if that doesn't work again then try it with IDE.

Hi,
I think that the problem is that the disk hasn't been allocated properly. When I mapped the disk, VMware did not recognize it (See attachment).
I will install a new VM with the same settings and update this post after.
The disk allocation was not the problem. The problem was the selection of the Guest Operating System when creating a new VM ( See attachement). In the first VM I choosed " Red Hat Entreprise Linux 6" and in the second VM " Red Hat Linux ".
Selecting the Guest Operating System affects the the supported devices and also how the disk is allocated.
