Red Hat 9.0 Install Problems - Blank Screen
I tried earlier today to install Red Hat 9.0 and the installation seemed to go alright until I had to reboot once it had completed. After rebooting, I ended up at a blank screen. I've since tried installing Fedora Core 1 and I have the same problem - installs properly, but then ends up at a blank screen following the first reboot. Any ideas as to what my problem is for either installation?

You get a blank screen when booting? or only when loading X server? Seems that either the card is not well configured or the monitor.

I get the blank screen when booting, but I know it's at the point where it's trying to start the X server for the gui. I did manage to get Fedora working by changing the horizontal/vertical synch rates and the resolution of the monitor. Would this probably work in fixing Red Hat since it's similar to Fedora?

Did it not ask for your monitor specs during the installation of RH? And yes that should help in bringing up the gui on your screen.
