Red Hat 7.3 Boot Problems

I Recently had installed Red Hat 7.3 on an AMD Athlon XP 2200,256 DDR. The problem was with the GRUB boot loader. When I tried to boot my linux the following error was displayed.

Not Enough memory to load the kernel..... Press any key.

Why does this error drops in? and after going into the rescue mode, I installed the lilo boot loader inplace of GRUB. The problem was solved.

Is there any specific configuration to be done for GRUB?

Please Help me.
