Question about Apache Log File ?
 

On a server running RedHat 7.0

I recently started getting the following lines in the Apache log file ..
/var/log/httpd/access_log

"SEARCH /�_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_ ±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±_±������������������������������������� ���������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� ��"

there are actuall a lot more rows of + and squares than i have shown.

What causes these types of entries ???

The server has been online for over a year, but i just started getting these entries.
