Problems sending video out to a projection screen in redhat 9
Ok, I have a buddy that is running redhat 9.0 on an ibm laptop (thinkpad I believe). We have a projection screen in a classroom and from time to time we like to have the projection screen show the desktop. If we connect the projector to the computer before we boot up, everything is fine, the video displays on the screen and on the projection screen. However, if we boot up first, and then want to plug in to the projection screen we get nothing. Is there a way to get Redhat to recognize the projector without rebooting?

Yes, but they only work if the projector was hooked to the computer before booting up.
