problem with standby mode

Hello everybody.

I want to wake up every morning with my computer, so I set a task to play a song every morning, like this:

at 0800
cdplay play 1

and then I put my system in standby mode with 'apm -S'

The problem is that at the time the song should play, the system stays in standby mode, so nothing happens.

Does somebody know how I can solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Try using apmsleep to wake the computer up before playing the song, ie, apmsleep 7:59 will wake the comp up at 7:59; I know this doesn't really solve the problem just avoids it, but I hope that it helps.
