Problem with nagios when trying to log in through hostname

Hi,

I have installed nagios in centos 5.8 but I can only login by giving http://localhost/nagios and http://IPaddress/nagios

I have given my hostname as rahul in /etc/sysconfig/network and also in the /etc/hosts file as 127.0.1.1 rahul

But I want to login as http://rahul/nagios

The nagios page doesn't appears. Please help.

Hi rahul.buragohain,

Please don't create multiple threads for the same problem. You already have a thread with replies in it here. Stick to one thread only per question / problem to keep the focus on the issue. Creating multiple threads for one problem only confuses you and us. Reported for closure since it is a duplicate.

Kind regards,

Eric

Please post your thread once and in only one forum. Posting a single thread in the most relevant forum is easier on your fellow members as well as you. This thread is closed because it is a duplicate of http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...me-4175444263/ like EricTRA said.
