Problem installing rt2570 driver

I'm using RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.0AS and am having problems installing the rt2570 driver for my LinkSys WUSB54G V4.

I've extracted the tarball downloaded from serialmonkey but when I type in
Code:
make
in the terminal, the following error occurs:
Code:
Entering directory '/lib/modules/2.6.9-5.EL/build'
*** No rule to make target 'modules'. Stop.
Leaving directory '/lib/modules/2.6.9-5.EL/build'
rt2570.ko failed to build!
*** [module] Error 1
I'm a noob so please go easy on the technical terms because I may not understand them. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Quoting from; http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/wiki/index.php/FAQ

Q. Why do I get lots of errors when trying to compile ?
A. Probably because you haven't got your kernel sources configured correctly. Ensure that you have the sources in the expected locations (/usr/src/linux-2.x.x) and that you have a symlink from /lib/modules/2.x.x/build to that source folder)

All you gotta do is install the kernel-sources package. You just need to go to YUM and search for "kernel" and you'll find a kernel-source that should match your kernel package you already have installed.
