Hola
My RHES loads but crashes/stalls when it calls up the GUI. She shows a garbled GUI screen. And She just repeatedly trys to run the GUI login and never makes it.
I see the text login but it is only there a brief moment so I am unable to enter my login.
my question is:
1) How do I get the RHES to a terminal/text logon so I might fix it?
2) When I delete-alt-control it I managed to change the install to the floppieDisk. but she bypasses and ignores that and reaches for the Hardrive and loads from there. So I am unable to use a boot-Disk.
How do I get my machine back to square-one so I can use it again and get RHES sorted out?

Thanks

Howzit

One u boot up into linux and u get the black screen buy press CTRL-ALT-F1 this will take u to a console where u will be prompted to type in your username and password. Type in the following redhat-config-cfree86 cmd to change video settings also remember if u video card is Nvida u might need to download the drivers to make it work.

9.2?? It doesn't exist, they stopped at 9 and only make ES and AS.. they do have a Enterprise type desktop out, but its not free for download, etc.

You may want to look into Fedora, they handed their desktop off to them.
