php-devel


hello

iam using -
Redhat Enterprise Linux - OS ES 5.0
PHP Version 5.1.6

and i would like to install php-devel cuz i want phpize command.

which php-devel version should i install and where can i get this, and how i need to do this.
iam newbie in linux.

Hi and welcome to LQ.

You need to install the php-devel package that matches the version of php that you are currently running. The devel package should be available on your discs of via the Red Hat package repositories.
