Outlook calendars with Dovecot and Squirrelmail

Hi,

I have set up a new mail server as follows:
RHEL 5 2.6.18-194.26.1.el5
sendmail
dovecot 1.0.7 for IMAP
Squirrelmail 1.4.21
+ compatibility plugin 2.0.16-1.0
+ local_autorespond_forward 3.0.1-1.4.0

Everything is working well.

Currently our users use Microsoft Outlook and pop their
E-mail to local pst files.

The new mail server will allow us to store the mail in
the user's maildir. This can then be backed up more easily.

My question:
Is there a way to include the user's Outlook calendars,
contacts etc. in the users IMAP data?
NOTE: these are not going to be shared calendars -this seems
to have been discussed here many times.

Cheers,
Geoff

You won't be able to config dovecot to use outlook calendar data.
The problem isn't with dovecot as it does calendars famously, just not with outlook calendars.

There may be some 3rd party plugins out there since I'm sure other companies using outlook with dovecot have run into the same problem. I don't know of any plugins for dovecot, but probably other folks on here have.

Hi Ehtetur,

Thanks for that. I suspected as much. I'll have a look
for some more plugins.

Cheers,
Geoff
