Out of range

Hi Everyone,
I am a new user of Linux using Redhat Linux 8. I mistakenly adjusted my monitor settings from 800 x 600, to 800 x 1024 trying to enlarge the screen settings. Now I get the out of scan range message. How can I reconfigure the monitor settings to get back to the normal startup.

Edit the file /etc/X11/XF86Config and change the Modes line from saying 800x1024 back to 800x600
