Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. Saying "can't succeeded" tells us absolutely NOTHING about the results you got. Provide details when asking a question. Also, Oracle Enterprise 5.9 is old...are you planning on upgrading? OEL is also not free, as in you need to be PAYING for it...are you?
Typically, the most effective way of backing up is copying your data off...for that, tar is a good method, but do NOT back up the operating system...just the config files and your data. If the system dies, do a clean re-install of the OS, then copy your data back on. If you're talking about a bare-metal situation, this has been asked (and answered) on this site many times. Tools such as mkcdrec, mondarchive, and systemimager are all good choices.

yes, we are paying for it.... and till now we are not planning to upgrade from OEL 5.9...
Indeed I'll try to explain my questions in best way...
we required to backup installed apps and software's so that in case any crash or something we can restore that backup file just to save our time and data stored.

If you're paying for it, then have you contacted Oracle support for their suggestions?? Paying for the distro means you're paying for support too..using it is a smart idea.

This isn't "best way"...all you did was re-ask the same question you did initially. You still haven't said what you mean by "can't succeeded", tell us what you've done/tried/looked at, etc. Again, read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature...unless you actually provide details, there isn't a lot we can tell you.
Some SAN environment can do BCV snapshots, and depending on your environment, you may have bare-metal recovery software already built into your enterprise backup solution. Those would be best...but again, unless you actually tell us what you have to work with, what you've done/tried, etc., we cannot guess. You were given suggestions in the first reply..did you look at/try ANY of them???
