Oracle db on ext4 filesystem on RH 6

Hi,
does anyone installed Oracle 11/12 database on ext4 filesystem on Red Hat 6? I know that recommended is using ASM however I do have db already working on ext4. I wonder what mount options should be used to improve IO performance.

Impossible to say, since database performance is based on a variety of factors. Like size of the DB, number of records, data types involved, number of concurrent users, types of queries, etc.

And, not really sure what your question is, since you seem to be asking if Oracle can have a DB on an ext4 filesystem...then go on to say you've already GOT it working on an ext4 filesystem, so you obviously already know the answer. You're using RHEL and Oracle...both of them are commercial, pay-for products, and Oracle is certified to work on RHEL. I'd contact Oracle support for help.
