SidA LQ Newbie Registered: Mar 2004 Location: New York City Distribution: Red Hat 9.0 Posts: 26 Rep:	On RH9 NVidia Splash screen occurs and system hangs Hi, I tried to log into my RH9 installation today and the NVidia splash screen came (I am running RH9 on a Dell Inspiron 8600) and then it just stayed there and never game me the Login prompt. I can't even get to the Shell. Has anyon encountered this before or know how to get to the shell in this case, so I can reinstall the NVidia drivers. Thx, Sid.
