Offline Updates

I have a sever running RHEL 5. It's in a DMZ with extremely restrictive firewall rules that I don't manage, but I know there is no outbound connectivity on UDP port 53.

I want to install updates, preferably via up2date/yum. I can't run rhn_register because I can't connect to the RHN server. I tried adding a static hosts entry for (the url rhn_register says it tries to connect to) but I was unable to connect to port 443 at that address either (I think because of the firewall).

Is there any way to download all available updates for a particular build/version from RHN? Can I burn everything to DVD or an external hard drive on a different computer and then use those downloaded packages to do my updates? I'd be interested to hear about any solutions, even something like a wget --mirror on the right RHN url (I looked at the url's for public downloads but they're pretty obfuscated).

I have an RHN subscription and entitlement, if that helps.

If you have a RHN subscription contact them. That is what you are paying for.
