OAFIID:GNOME_MixerApplet

On a new install of RHEL4u5, I'm getting this error:

Quote:
The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_MixerApplet". Details: Failed to resolve, or extend "!prefs_key=/apps/panel/applets/mixer/prefs;background=none:;orient=down;size=x-small;locked_down=false

Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?
This is the result of a kickstart script, so hitting Delete one time isn't going to be my answer. I need to know what package(s) to add or remove to make sure that this does not appear on fresh installs. The package list is:

the panel encountered a problem etc.

the panel encountered a problem while loading oaf11d:gnome_ fast user switching applet

When the desktop comes up the error shows and the backround is not the default one that loads. Am I to assume since the backround is not the default that the load was bad and I could be missing other panels?

In recovery mode when I run:
apt-get remove gnome applets
apt-get install gnome applets
apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

and watch the monitor I see several fails to fetch from us.archive.ubuntu.com and I can't help to wonder if this is the problem all along.

Your thread seemed to deal with this issue and I was wondering if you could help me.

The load is 8.10 and the other funny thing is I get a good load on a single drive system but not on machines where I want to use multiple drives.
