Not able to install opencv3.2.0 on RHEL7. cv2.so file missing
I am not able to install opencv3.2.0 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. I tried installing Opencv 3.2.0, 3.1.0, 3.0.0. However, after completion of the whole process cv2.so file is not being created. Is it at all possible to install opencv 3.x on RHEL7 or not? If yes, how?

Yes, it's possible. First, please read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. We are happy to help, but doing basic research first is a good thing. Installation of OpenCV is touched on in the Red Hat knowledgebase: https://access.redhat.com/documentat...es/opencv.html
Have you made no progress in five years of working with this software? I think the best people to help you would be the Red Hat support folks, since you're paying for RHEL.
Thanks for your time and response. I will go through the links and see if that helps.
However, as you mentioned about my earlier post, I would like to mention I have been working with Opencv since last 4-5 years.
But this time the problem is I am completely new to RHEL and the problem is related to that only.

How are you so certain that it's RHEL related, when as you say, you're "completely new" to it? And as said, since you're using RHEL, you are PAYING FOR RHEL, RIGHT??? So since you're certain that it's RHEL releated...why haven't you called RHEL support for help???
...a complete step-by-step guide, with installation and setup scripts. AGAIN, if you're using RHEL7 and you have not applied the patches/fixes that you get with your RHEL subscription, you are going to have problems. Did you do so?????
