What doesn't work? What error messages do you get?

How did you install it? What codecs did you install? Is it seeing your cd drive (if that's where the music files are)?

Go to www.redhat.com and look around the knowledge base - they have instructions for enabling mp3s (they removed so as not to violate any copyrights).

it sounds as though it's not picking up the plugins, you could try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

hi
What do you mean it does not work?
If you mean that it does not play "mp3's", you are right because Fedora DO NOT support mp3.

To enable mp3 support on KDE check the following:

I hope I was of some help.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place. Your threads have been merged.

don works means that don't play mp3 files.
I saw the web page http://www.holovaty.com/linux/fedorafaq/kde_mp3.html
but, after that, I don't knows if this is worth

The link it's good, but when I do in my FC2:
rpmbuild -bb /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/kdemultimedia.spec

apears the fallow menssage:

*** Creating Makefile templates
./admin/cvs.sh: line 644: 4918 Segmentation fault $AUTOMAKE
make: *** [cvs] Error 1
erro: Código de saída inválido do /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.97159 (%prep)

What can I do?
