need help getting a OPL3-SAX isa sound card working

I have tried sndconfig from command line, and it notices my card.... then asks for i/o address, irq, and dma's... I can't seem to find the right combination.... If there is an easier way let me know.........
Just a little update, I rebooted linux, ran dmesg from root and it showed that redhat saw the sound card at boot with i/o, irq, dma's and so forth..... but sound card still does not play..... Must be sound drivers or something..... let me know what you think....
