Nautilus is searching for trash folders

Friends,

Not frequently....but once in 5 days or near to that....
I am receiving the below message when i log into my RHEL AS 3 in the GUI.

"Nautilus is Searching your disk for trash folders"

with the "OK" button...when i click the "OK" button then only the desktop is visible.

what might be the reason? Is this a sympton for server crash or something....
Because our oracle server is running in this box. And I am the one who is responsible for this linux box.

What i have to do now?
Can anyone give me the details?

Thanks & Regards
Sathyguy

I had a sort of similar problem a few days back, but my problem was that my RHEL3 didn't want to log in completely.

If I was you (be warned, I'm no Linux guru), I'd try hitting [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[backspace] and see if it doesn't perhaps pull itself together.

In the meantime I'm checking the web for a better solution...
