My GeForce FX 5200 video card won't work on RH9

i have GeForce FX 5200 (StarForce 5200) video card
i've installed RH9 and set the run level to 3 (multi user, non-X), i've also downloaded drivers from nVidia.com (the latest *.run file). i install it typing:

# sh *.run

and than i follow the installation instructions. as it gets installed, im told "just" to customize my /etc/X11/XF86Config file changing sections as follows:

"Driver" driver="vesa"

to

"Driver" driver="nvidia"

and

"Module" load="glx"

and to delete:

"Module" load="dri"

when i'm done, it just says to restart X so i type:

# startx

and i can see big nothing. What should i do now?
