Does anyone know if a Cigmatel STAC 9750 music card will
work on RedHat9.0.
I'am buying a Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop and it has that music
board in it..
Should be OK. It seems to be supported using the ac97_codec.o kernel module (read: driver). If it is not recognised straight away, you may need to install/run a program called sndconfig.
