Talking multibooting menu disappear.

c:win98 d:redhat linux installed in one hard drive.
win98 system error ocurrs. so win98 reinstalled..
after reinstall win98, multibooting menu disappear.
how do??

Yep... when you re-installed Windows it will have installed a Windows bootloader in the MBR hence erasing GRUB - thats why the multiboot menu has gone - did you also completely wipe over the Linux install when you re-installed Windows? - you could always try booting off the 1st Red Hat cd-rom and typing

linux rescue

at the boot prompt:

For more info check out:

......... maybe you've got the bootdisk?

get to a prompt and

grub-install /dev/hda

(if on /dev/hda - modify accordingly if different)

Red face there is no linux cd.

linux iso file saved on c drive.
when install a redhat linux, installed from hard drive.
how do?
