Mouse hangs system with Redhat 8.0
 

I have an Advantech single board PC compatible computer on which I have installed Redhat 8.0. (I must use 8.0 for a particular application I am using) Whenever I move the mouse (serial or PS2) the system hangs and needs to be rebooted. I have have used up2date to update everything. I have tried installing version 9.0 and it works perfectly fine. Anyone have any ideas?
