Question Modem Not detecting on FC4.


I am new Linux user.
my OS is FEDORA Core 4
My modem Smartmodem M7F & Netcomm Roadster 336(external modems) is not detected by the system.
Could anyone there help me to configure the above modems.

Sorry, what kind of modem is this? Is it USB, serial, etc? For dialup, ADSL, cable?

This is a serial modem for dial-up connections.
