Minimal install for development

I'm interested in making a cd that contains the stuff I need to do command line developing in a Redhat 7.2 environment. I don't need fancy stuff just the things that would let me use gcc and gcc-c++.

A list of packages would be great (doesn't have to be specific).

Can anyone help?

You can find out what packages you have to have to suport gcc with:
rpm -q gcc --requires

Similarly:
rpm -q gcc-c++ --requires

and if necessary you can look up the dependencies of the dependencies.
