MBR deleted, how to rewrite GRUB in it?
hi,
2 days back i formatted my C drive on which windows 2000 professional was installed. My Linux rh9 is installed on my E drive. Now after formatting C drive, GRUB was no longer in the MBR,so i made a grub boot floppy by copying the stage* files and i am able to log into my linux using the boot floppy. Now the problem is i don't know how to rewrite GRUB into MBR and it doesn't sound good to use the boot floppy everytime i log into linux. So how to get around with this problem? How to rewrite GRUB into the MBR again? Thanks JAS |
An rpm package of Grub came along with your RedHat9, so reinstall it and re-configure it to include Windows. That should work.
