Max # of IPs on a single NIC


Does anyone know the maximum number of IP addresses that can be assigned to a single NIC?

Good question, don't know the answer, but can tell you I've seen at least a dozen ( if memory serves me ... which it rarely does ), on one NIC before.

Yea, I've seen 12+ in the past. This doesn't initially pose a problem for me, but it might in the near future.
