Making Redhat ES startup into X


How do I make Redhat ES start up into X ???

hi , a real newbie question.....
first of all log in. take a shell prompt and edit the /etc/inittab file by typing vi /etc/inittab. go to the line id: x:.....
change the x to 5.save the file. restart the system.u will have graphics up next time....
otherwise enter 'init 5' at the command prompt and this will take you to the graphics temporarily. the former method makes it permanent..... gud luck.....
