MA101 Driver for RH9 AMD Athlon XP
:newbie: I have tried desperately to set up an internet connection on my eMachine. On Windows XP I am hooked to an Netgear MA101 Wireless connection. It appears Netgear does not support Linux RH9 and was directed to several sites, but I am a newbie and was pretty lost.
Any help or direction to a driver (and how to install) would be appreciated. Thanks, JAJ500 |
Well not to keen on this field but do a search at www.google.com for it also do a search for the redhat compatibility list and check that for it to see if redhat has a driver for it, either than that keep looking for someone else who has the card and maybe used a different driver not specifically for that device.

Its either an Atmel chipset: http://atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net or a prism2 chipset: http://www.linux-wlan.net Check the docs over at the atmel driver site, they'll show you which one to try, also remember that both of these driver sets have weird little programs to set their wireless settings, "iwconfig" and the like don't work, so make certain to read the docs with the drivers.
