Login Limitations
Hi all,
I have 2 questions: 1) On my Linux server (redhat) i cannot login directly with root (except at console). Although i can login with any non root id and then SU to root. Where is this setting done? 2) On Another of my linux machines (redhat again) a normal user (non root) cannot su at all (to any id) unless if he is in the group "wheel". Where is this setting done? Please advice. |
Try looking in /etc/security
