Ive heard....


that Redhat will stop supporting 7 and 8 in January.

and verion 9 will be April 2004.

And the only support you will get will be for the pro sever versions.

Is this true?

becasue I also got told that Fedora wont be ugradable either?

Hi,

Have you visited RedHat's webpages lately? It's true that they're withdrawing support as it currently stands, and according to the timetable you give.

Fedora will be upgradeable. I guess it remains to be seen how often upgrades will be released and how good they are.

See the many other threads on Fedora and on RedHat's new policy for lots more opinion.
