Issue: RHEL 4 and US robotics gigabit NIC module r8169


Hi,
Does the default nic module r8169 for US robotics gigabit nic card works fine with RHEL4 ? lspci is showing the card, module is even loaded as well but ifconfig is not recognizing the h/w.
any comment ?

You're doing "ifconfig -a"? The card only shows in ifconfig without the -a flag if it has been configured already. The -a says to show all interfaces whether configured or not.
